Practical work : Botany

The Practical Work in Botany module in the second year of the Bachelor's degree (L2) is designed to complement the theoretical knowledge acquired in lectures by offering a practical and applied approach to the study of plants and related organisms.In 10 sessions, students explore the diversity of the major plant lineages, from algae and fungi to higher plants (Angiosperms and Gymnosperms). Each session is devoted to observing and analyzing the morphology and modes of reproduction of the organisms studied.Handle fresh and prepared plant samples under a microscope and binocular magnifying glass

Understand the life cycles and adaptive strategies of different plant groups

Apply identification and morphological observation techniques

Compare the different groups according to their reproductive structures and evolution

This module aims to develop students' global and evolutionary vision of the plant kingdom, highlighting the importance of plants in ecosystems and their structural and functional diversity.
