Designed for 3rd-year EFL students, the module explores the key events, transformations, and challenges that shaped the United States in the aftermath of World War II. Through a chronological and thematic approach, students will analyze pivotal moments in American history from 1945 to the late 20th century, that include key events such as the Cold War, the Civil Rights Movement, the Korean and Vietnam Wars, and the Affluent Society of the post-WWII era. The course emphasizes critical thinking and historical inquiry, encouraging students to examine the United States' global influence and its domestic struggles during this transformative era.To achieve that, the module incorporates tailored reading assignments, discussions, and multimedia resources to build both historical knowledge and English language proficiency.
