This course is a set of lessons that allow for learning about the characteristics of the information society, directed to first-year students Human Sciences with a (Common trunk). By following these lessons, the student will be able to:

- Identify the most important terms and concepts related to the information society;

- Identifying the information society and determining the difference between it and the other types of societies;

- Identifying the information economy, its characteristics and its basic requirements.
